Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the energy consumption in construction activities of unit kilocalories per minute.  Operate a worker's heart rate monitor for each activity. Data were collected using a 5-minute assessment to find the average heart rate to calculate the worker's energy consumption and shows the amount of work a worker can accomplish in 20 construction activities. 1.Light weight brickwork 2.Formwork concrete installation 3.Formwork concreat demolition work 4.Scaffold installation work 5.Scaffold demolition work 6.Painting work 7.Structural steel binding work 8.Plaster mix work 9.Structural concrete pillars work 10.Structural concrete pouring work 11.Excavation work 12.Ceiling installation work 13.Extraction of pile head work 14.Plastering work on the face of the floor 15. Tile roof installation work 16.Plastering the walls 17.Plastering columns and beams 18.Welding and installation of steel structure work 19. Skim coat finish work 20.Skim coat scrubbing work  The energy value obtained in each activity was analyzed for a sample of the time the workers were able to work continuously. And the rest period of the workers in each job that is suitable for the worker according to the nature of the activities performed. To create good productivity in construction.
