Abstract

The movement of tectonic plates directly affects the geolocation with coordinates and reference coordinates of the same position over time. Currently, International organizations have been improving the international terrestrial reference frame (ITRF) in accordance with plate tectonics. In surveying by Precise Point Positioning (PPP) and Precise Point Positioning Real-Time Kinematic (PPP-RTK) technique are based on this ITRF to determine the coordinates. If there is a movement of tectonic plates, it will affect the accumulation in coordinates over time. The objective of this article is to determine a horizontal coordinates correction model of the ITRF2014 in Thailand. The correction model consists of a grid coordinates difference to be interpolated using Spline method. Accuracy of the horizontal coordinates compared to the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The findings indicated that the correction model of horizontal coordinates by applying grid correction model of Spline method give horizontal coordinates accuracy of confidence level 95% about 0.033 meters. Thus, this can improve the accuracy of horizontal coordinates for the ITRF2014 in Thailand about 3 cm. for consider of confidence level 95%. This will connect to the coordinates of other users and support future use on the ITRF2014 coordinate reference frame in Thailand.
