This article presents the stabilization of an embankment on Highway No. NP 3017 in Si Songkhram District, Nakhon Phanom Province. The embankment, constructed in a flood-prone area with a height of 4 meters, experienced subsidence and cracking after construction. Soil investigations revealed that the foundation soil had low strength and high moisture content, while the fill soil was classified as moderate dispersive soil. The research team proposed stabilizing the embankment using 2% lime to increase shear strength and reduce the degree of dispersive. In addition, the flipped soil bag was used to protect the slope surface. Test results showed a significant improvement in the embankment's stability, and this approach has been recommended to the Department of Rural Roads for further implementation.
