Abstract

The purpose of this research is to study setting out of building methods in construction using statistical principles analyze accuracy and precision, which occur unsystematically from the surveyors, Uncontrolled experimental conditions the discrepancy causes the measured value to be more or less than it should be. The research began with peg positioning of 3 buildings of different sizes. In the peg positioning process, 4 types of survey instruments are used Drone, GNSS, Total Station and Theodolite. The study found that relationship between precision and area, the most accurate method is Total Station, GNSS, Theodolite and Drone respectively, It can be concluded that the selection of survey instruments to position the building pegs for construction depends on the objectives of the project.
