This article is to study the sediment budget analysis of Bangberd beach cell, Pateaw district, Chumporn province. By studying sediment budget analysis of sand dunes. Using the concept sediment budget for beaches and dunes. The steps of study are as follows analysis of aerial photograph and Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) each year available in the area. The boundaries of beach and dune are the Mean Higher High Water (MHHW) line as the beach boundary and the potential vegetation line (PVL) as the dune boundary. These two lines make the height, the width and slope of the beach. Next, the study area is divided into sub areas. To classified type of dunes. Then, calculated the volume of beaches and dunes each sub area by using geographic information system programs. The results of each year were compared to find the rates of volume change with the type of dunes as criteria. It was determined that the rates of dune volume change were higher in the developed sand dunes than in the undeveloped sand dunes. From the results, show that the tendency of the disappearing dunes depends on the type of dunes. It also depends on the width of the beach and the influence of marine and aeolian processes. At present, beach have a moderate erosion rates and in the future it may have a higher erosion rates. This inevitably affects the volume of dune as well.
