This article aimed to search for the factors of the learning environment of civil engineering students as a guideline for improving teaching management and curriculum development. The researchers surveyed 100 undergraduate civil engineering students using convenient sampling and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and comparative statistical methods. The study found that the overall learning environment of civil engineering students was at the highest level. Important factors of the learning environment for teaching were: the ability of the instructor to convey knowledge effectively, the use of various teaching techniques, and the ability to answer questions and provide consultations. The important supporting factors were adequate laboratory facilities, supportive staff, and classroom characteristics. These findings suggest that educational institutions should have developed teachers and resources to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning.
