Abstract

Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) is a satellite supplement system that provides correction services for GNSS, which cover a wide area of service. The SBASs have been developed in countries around the world. As Thailand is not in the service area, but it can receive signals from the SBAS. Therefore, this research focuses on the evaluation of positional accuracy by applying correction from the SBAS, computation with GPS for single point positioning in Thailand. The results of the study showed that Thailand is currently able to receive signals from 3 SBAS satellites: AUSBAS, GAGAN and BDSBAS, which the above 3 corrections cannot increase the accuracy of horizontal on average. AUSBAS and BDSBAS cannot increase the accuracy of vertical on average, but GAGAN can increase the accuracy of vertical on average compared with GPS Coordinates.
