Application of the Seventh Dimension Building Information Model for the Library and Learning Center University of Phayao

Abstract

         The development of information technology today is fast and is likely to continue to evolve. One of them is Building Information Modeling: BIM), a concept developed for use in the design and construction process. By creating a model with information, the BIM model aims to integrate work in the different stages of design and construction to reduce redundancy and errors. And increase the convenience and speed of work Therefore, this research aimed to study the application of the seventh dimension of BIM in building management, Library and learning center. University of Phayao with a focus on building maintenance management, that’s Electrical systems Lighting system air conditioning system and internal resource management is the book category resource management. Finally, this research will present the comparative results of the analysis using the BIM model and the results obtained from the actual electricity measurement data and the opinion questionnaire from the building resource management supervisor.
