Abstract

Transportation is essential to the country's growth. The most easily accessible and widely used transportation system is land transport. By using the car to use the road in transportation. As transportation increases, there is a growing demand for road vehicles. Has a higher traffic volume. Causing the road to be damaged according to usage conditions. Currently, asphalt concrete roads in Thailand are more than concrete roads because they are flexible and cost less than concrete roads, but they have the disadvantage of being sensitive to temperature changes, namely they will soften at high temperatures and crack when Low temperature. In addition, the increased traffic and higher payload caused the asphalt road surface to be damaged faster than normal. Resulting in higher repair and maintenance costs. Which, using natural rubber as a domestic resource as an additive. For use in pavement, it is another way to develop asphalt concrete pavement. And help promote the use of natural rubber in the country more. To increase the value of natural rubber raw materials in the country. This is because natural rubber can help improve the flexibility and strength of asphalt concrete pavement. Making the service life longer. It also uses less asphalt cement. Thus, helping to reduce construction and maintenance costs in the long term for the country. Therefore, it is necessary to study the engineering science of asphalt cement, a quality-improved binder with natural rubber flake and natural latex. The ratios of 100: 0, 97: 3, 95: 5 and 93: 7 will be tested 1) penetration test according to ASTM D5, 2) softening point test according to ASTM D36, 3) Flash point test according to ASTM D92 and 4) elasticity recovery test according to ASTM D113.
