Abstract

This article focuses on motivation and expectation of second-degree civil engineering students and aim for education and curriculum improvement. The researcher surveyed 100 second-degree civil engineering students using questionnaire and convenience sampling. Data analysis tools are frequency, percentage, mean, and ranking. The result shows motivation level of the students is at high level. The important students’ motivation factor is to use degree for increase their business opportunities from other engineering fields. The important learning expectation is to learn some contents that could be used in practical work.
