Road Safety Audit (RSA) is used to solve road accident problems in use, design and construction stages allowing for inspection of hazards and taking corrective action before they lead to accidents. Road accidents are the problem in Thailand, especially for motorcycle users. They are the most popular type and high road accident in Thailand. The RSA for motorcycles uses the road safety checklist for motorcycle users, which was developed and presented at the 25th National Convention on Civil Engineering in the article “The guidelines development of road safety audit for motorcycle” to inspect safety on rural roads, which high accident rates for motorcycle users. Roads with high traffic volumes and risky roads were selected, considering the traffic volume, accident rates, fatalities and serious injuries by the Department of Rural Roads in the pilot project to assess the safety of rural roads to achieve the 12 global goals for road safety operations. The results of the study revealed the problems of rural road, provided suggestions for developing a road safety checklist for motorcycle users and how to apply them.
